As a small child I knew I had a deep love for animals. My family had a quite a few
dogs growing up so I grew up around a few different breeds of wonderful dogs. In
high school I went through an internship at our local veterinarian’s clinic where I
learned that I had an even greater love for dogs that involved not only cuddling
and playing with them but helping them through illness and any other issues that
arose.
While earning my Bachelor’s degree in Biology while attending Savannah State
University, I met my future husband, Jacob Flores, while he was serving in the
Armed Forces. We got married in February of 2016 and later in the year Jacob
received orders to Oahu, Hawaii. After moving to Oahu, I took another vet tech
job at a veterinary clinic on the island but I learned I wanted to do more and have
a better and different relationship with dogs and their owners.
This is when I met the Bradshaw brothers. Jake and Jared Bradshaw took me in as
part of their family and taught me everything they know. As their understudy I
worked with a large variety of different breeds and along the way I met many
wonderful dogs and owners! I quickly learned that I absolutely loved training! Up
until I started dog training my job was just that, a job. However, dog training is an
amazing feeling of satisfaction knowing that I can help a family get over their
struggles with their naughty fur baby. As a trainer I put forth my very best efforts
in helping you get the dog you always dreamed of having because I know first-
hand how frustrating it is to have such a distraction and a bothersome furry
family member!
After working with Jake and Jared, my husband and I moved back to Georgia to
continue doing what I love, that is assisting dog lovers in making their little rascals
less frustrating and creating an even deeper bond and the ever expanding the Dog
Tale Family!
